WHAT IS THE IRONMAN?
The MGM Ironman is a "one of a kind" match and has been since its actualization in 1999. Mike Gibson developed an idea for the type of match that he wanted to shoot. It is long, intense, and you shoot till you drop! Mike frequently says, "this match isn't for weenies or crybabies".
In the ten years the Ironman has been held, it has continually grown and is quickly becoming one of the top matches in the nation. With creative and challenging stage designs, high round counts, and a great RO crew the IRONMAN is truly a unique match. The match includes 10 stages, an 1100 round count (if the shooter doesn't miss), and EVERY stage requires the use of all 3 guns. The Ironman is an intense test of both shooter and equipment, not to mention it is a blast! Over 3 days, the participants will shoot from the back of a moving vehicle, while driving a golf cart, from the top of a 20 ft tower, and while carrying a dummy. Every stage has a 10 minute time limit and the average time spent shooting on EACH stage is about 7 minutes. Needless to say these shooters are serious about their game and greatly appreciate support from companies who enable shooting sports.

GLOCK is back! And better!
GLOCK has again stepped up to support the Ironman 3 Gun, but this year they are donating two guns! In addition to the GLOCK DEPENDABILITY drawing (on the first day, at the START of Shooters Meeting, at the start of the match on Thursday morning, we give away a gun by random drawing. Everyone is eligible, but you must be present and standing right there to win. We draw one name, and you have about 5 seconds to respond. If you are in the parking lot, you are out of luck, and we call another name.
The SECOND GLOCK is designated as a prize, also by random drawing, that will take place at the end of the match. To be eligible, you had to finish the match, and you had to shoot a GLOCK all the way through. So, if you are waffling about what pistol to shoot, here is another good reason to go to your GLOCK!
SHOOTERS!
Every year our sponsors have generously donated their products, time, and money into making our match a success. I encourage anyone who shoots to thank the sponsors for their support of the shooting industry. Please check out our links page for a list of all of our wonderful sponsors. These truly are first class companies!
