Dear Ironman shooters,
MGM would like to offer our most sincere apologies for the mistakes that occurred during awards. Attached are the final scores.
We believe that we have resolved the issues and will continue to improve the system. We have always said the Ironman shooters are the Salt of the Earth, and our shooters are the classiest, most "stand-up" men and women in the industry.
We know this is difficult, but we appreciate you proving us right... and hope that if you were the recipient of a trophy or gun that perhaps should have been awarded to another shooter, you will offer it up. We will happily cover the shipping fees of the trophies back to MGM so we can get them redistributed.
Thank you again for your patience.
Sincerely,
Travis S. Gibson

We posted a bunch of excellent photos that Sterling took at the match in the 2009 MGM Ironman Shooter Contributions Album. We also posted a bunch of additional sponsor pictures. Remember to take a little extra time and thank each and every sponsor.
We still have more pictures of the match stages to post, so check back!
Local CBS Affiliate KBCI Channel 2 ran a news segment on the match. Thank you for what sounded like a fair and balanced news report! You can see a short write up on the KBCI website.

Stage DiagramsStage Diagrams are what we started with and may not duplicate the 'on the ground' stage dues to range, weather or other limitations. Jim Sullivan UpdateWe received the following note from Jim and Tammy Sullivan...
MGM Shooters
Jim and I want to thank you all for your calls, prayers, and generosity.
We have always believed and known that the shooting community is made up of very extraordinary individuals and once again, you proved our theory.
No words can describe how much we appreciate your kindness and generosity.
All of it is so overwhelming and touching, and it makes us proud and honored to be a part of such a compassionate, wonderful group of folks.
For us, the MGM match is similar to a family reunion - you see most folks once a year, but you pick up the relationships and friendships right where you left it the year before. We treasure all of you. We also want to thank all of you who helped gather Jim's guns, ammo, gear, etc. It was comforting to know that it was handled and stored away safely.
Jim came home on Saturday evening. The surgeon believes that it went well.
His leg was a mess - put back together with plates, screws, pins, and cadaver parts, but he is already using a walker to get around and is able to flex and bend his knee well. He will be at home for a minimum of two weeks and then sees the surgeon for next steps. We know that he will be on crutches for about three months.
Thanks again for everything. We will keep you posted on Jim's progress. We look forward to seeing all of you again next year. Bless you all.
Jim and Tammy Sullivan
